I have had a great time here. Thank you, mom, for letting me come here. I'm sorry I forgot to keep in touch with my blog and I'll try to do better from now on.
The girls here made me a lunch to take with me so that I wouldn't get hungry on the way to Virginia. I'm excited to be heading out this morning.
I'm packed and all ready to go. Saying goodbye is always the hardest part. Thanks, AGR, for all the fun I've had. I'm going to miss you all very much!

Time Travel in Tennessee
Now this had to be the funnest thing I've ever done! I discovered that if I READ about somewhere I can actually travel to that place for REAL! Not just in my mind! At least that's the way it happened at AmericanGirlRescue's house when I read the historical Meet books.
(and Penny, too!)
Other things I did in Tennessee
I love astronomy, so my host family let me use their really BIG telescope and gaze at the stars. They also made me a my sized star chart for February. It's kind of like one of those 'cootie catchers' like we used to make in school (and get in trouble for.) It's cute and I've packed that in my stuff to go back with me.
Oh, I almost forgot that we got to go to a UT Lady Vols' basketball game! It was breast cancer awareness day so we all had to wear pink (and not the traditional orange) but I wore Jess' meet skirt with this Coconut play shirt so I was pink AND orange. The Lady Vols won their game too! I must be a good luck charm!

First Stop Tennessee!
I've been so busy here in Tennessee that I forgot all about my blog! Sorry to keep you all waiting for pictures of my adventures, but here we go!
First off, when I got here, I was almost overwhelmed! There are 21 other girls who live at American Girl Rescue! They have their own house. This is me circled so you can tell which one I am.
It's really a good thing that I brought my own sleeping bag because I had to sleep on the floor because all the beds were already taken. But that's okay. The other girls gave me a bit of closet space to hang up my things.
The first outing I got to do in Tennessee was go to a hockey game! Now that certainly was exciting! The Knoxville Ice Bears' mascot took a liking to me and I got to have my picture taken with him.
The Ice Bears won the game, so it was a very exciting night for us. I'm glad I got to go.
